When I looked up at the sky and saw the beautiful cloud
formation I thought to myself, “all we have is this moment.” With each second the clouds are shifting, changing
shape, moving in another direction. All we have is this moment to enjoy what is.
The clouds will soon disappear. Soon I will be indoors with a white ceiling
over my head. Yet still, all I have is this
moment. The moment I am washing the dishes, the moment I am tying my shoes, the
moment I am conversing with a loved one, the moment I am reading my emails. This is it. It doesn’t get any better
than this. This moment is life. Nature has
a very special way of reminding us to be in the moment.
“You’ll seldom experience regret for anything that you’ve
done. It is what you haven’t done that will torment you. The message,
therefore, is clear. Do it! Develop an appreciation for the present moment.
Seize every second of your life and savor it. Value your present moments. Using
them up in any self-defeating ways means you’ve lost them forever.” – Wayne Dyer
Rest in Peace Wayne Dyer (1940-2015)
Be present and live in each moment.
